Messaging Set Up

Tags are snippets of code you can add to your messages to automate and personalize the interactive messaging.

$name$ = inserts students name

#$WaitOrder$ = conveys to student their position the virtual queue.

$Queue$ inserts name of queue.

Reply S = status update, student will be updated on their current position and queue.

Reply T = a request for more time, bumps the student back four positions.

Reply L = student can leave the queue.

Enrollment Services Optin

$name$ You are #$WaitOrder$ in line for the Enrollment Services. You will get a text when it is your turn. Reply S to check status or Reply L to leave the line.

Status Update (set to automatically send update by position)

$name$ you are now #$WaitOrder$ in line for a $Queue$, it is almost your turn. Please make your way back to the $Queue$ Need more time? Reply T.

Transfer - when moving a student to another depart/Queue

$name$ you have been transferred, you are #$WaitOrder$ in the $Queue$. You will get a text when it is your turn.

Reply L to leave queue

$name$ you have left the $Queue$ line. To re-enter the line use the self-serve kiosk or see a staff member.

Reply S status position by queue

You are #$WaitOrder$ in line for the $Queue$. You will get a text when it is almost your turn. Reply L if you have to leave the line.

Reply T confirmation of additional time

$name$ you requested more time, you are now #$WaitOrder$ in line for the $Queue$. Reply S to check your status or L to leave.

Department Summons Message

$name$ it is your turn, please come to Enrollment Services. A staff member will be with you soon. Need more time, reply T. If you left the line, please reply L.
