Information for LSSAP Eligible Students Seeking a Transfer to Lynbrook High School
In the Fremont Union High School District, eligible families can choose between two excellent high schools for incoming ninth graders through programs designed to balance enrollment across the District. These are the Lynbrook Supplemental School Assignment Program (LSSAP) and the Monta Vista Supplemental School Assignment Program (MSSAP).

Who is eligible to apply for an LSSAP transfer?
To be considered qualified to participate in the LHS Supplemental School Assignment Program (LSSAP), students must:
Currently live within the Fremont Union High School district boundaries;
Complete BOTH the FUHSD Online Enrollment and Registration (OLR) for the 2026-27 school year AND the LSSAP Application by February 8, 2026, at 3:00 PM.
Students must also meet ONE of the following additional criteria:
Current 8th-grade student attending Miller Middle School on an Intra-District Transfer;
Current 8th-grade student attending Christa McAuliffe School;
Current 8th-grade student living in the CUSD Hyde Attendance area, which is the Cupertino High School Attendance area east of Wolfe Rd. / Miller Ave., excluding Vallco Parkway
The District will accept a maximum of 75 students at Lynbrook High School
Priority will go to applications from Miller and McAuliffe Middle Schools if their application is submitted on time
Remaining spots are available for students in the Hyde Attendance Area
If the number of applications received from the Hyde attendance exceeds the number of available openings, students will be selected randomly

Jan 20 - OLR (Online Registration) opens for ALL incoming 9th graders and new students.
Feb. 8 - TRANSFER APPLICATION DEADLINE AT 3:00 PM. OLR must be completed before the transfer application is submitted.
Feb. 9 - Lottery held if the number of applicants exceeds available seats
Feb. 9 - Families notified if selected or not
Feb. 12 - Confirmation form must be submitted by those selected – deadline 4:00 PM
Feb. 13 - Transfer information provided to schools
