I am very excited to be joining FUESD!   I have been in and around education for my entire life!  My parents were both teachers and I spent many afternoons in their classrooms doing my homework as they did teacher things. 

I spent the first 15 years of my career in education as a TK/Kinder teacher in a Montessori setting.  I loved education from the start and knew I had a special knack for working with kids who learned just a bit differently.  I returned to school 16 years ago to get my Special Education credentials (Mild/Moderate and Moderate/Severe) and a Master's Degree in SpEd.   I have been working as a Special Education teacher for 14 years.  I love working with students with special needs!  I enjoy the challenge of figuring out what interventions will support their success.  I am passionate about inclusion as well and became Board Certified in Special Education Inclusion several years ago and have helped schools and districts ensure that they are creating inclusive communities. I am excited to continue my journey in Special Education here in Fallbrook.
