Welcome to my class!

Welcome to Mr. Stillman's 3rd grade class! This is my second year teaching 3rd grade. It is also my 18th year teaching here at Live Oak. I love everything superheroes, but Superman is my favorite character of them all! I live with my wife and son. My wife is a teacher and my son, Wyatt, is a freshman at Fallbrook High School. I am also the proud owner of two fluffy cats. I look forward to the 2020-2021 school year with you.

Good afternoon Live Oak families of Mr. Stillman's 3rd-grade class. We are going to start "Face to Face Instruction" in a hybrid model starting Monday, October 5th for Group A and Tuesday, October 6th for Group B.

The class has been split into two groups so that we can maintain social distancing in the classroom.

The A group will meet On Mondays and Wednesdays, and be online Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.

The B group will meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and be online Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.

Please check your email from me letting you know what group your child is in. On Friday, I told each student what group they are in. Feel free to email me at sstillman@fuesd.org.

Here are the main points from Principal Parson to parents:

General Education classes start at 8:30 and end at 12:50 pm.

Gates will open at 8 am. We will have staggered arrival times by last name: A-H 8:00 am, I-P 8:10, and Q-Z 8:20. They cannot be dropped off any earlier than 8 am. If they need before school care they need to contact the Boys & Girls Club ASES program.

-When students arrive they will have a designated wait area, where they will sit and eat their breakfast and wait for the teacher.

-Parents/Students will receive their lunch and breakfast from CNS as they exit the parking lot.

-Students need to bring a water bottle, mask(s), and snacks from home (backpacks/lunch boxes are fine). We cannot have any toys or extra supplies brought from home.

-They must have a mask on to enter through the gate. We highly encourage our parents to stay in their cars and drop off their students in the lower parking lot. Parents who escort their children to the black gate must have a mask on (the same goes for pick up).

-We will be sending home drop off/pick up maps and procedures, schedules, and lots of other info next week in snail mail, through Peach Jar, and social media.

-ASES will be on campus when we return on Oct. 5th. If parents want to sign up they have to go through the B&G club.

Thank you,

Mr. Stillman

Gracias,

Sr. Stillman
