About Me
I am very excited to join FSA and look forward to a great year of PE with the students here!
A little bit about me, I grew up in Palmdale, California. I got my Bachelors' Degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Pedagogy. This will be my 3rd year teaching PE and 1st with FSA. I am 28 years old, and have been married for 3 years. I enjoy being physical active and doing activities such as, basketball, baseball, golf, football, hiking, and working out. I enjoy watching tv shows and movies with my wife. We love all things Marvel, and also most comedy shows and movies.

Parent Resources
Dear FSA Parents/Guardians,
A quality physical education program is offered to students as part of our curriculum. Research has shown that students who participate in physical activities do as well or better than others on standardized academic test scores.
Our P.E. program is designed to provide activities that are inclusive, highly active, integrate academic and wellness concepts, and are fun for all students. Additionally, instructional units are designed to develop students’ motor, cognitive, and social skills. Lessons are designed for everyone to feel successful.
PE Days: Physical education class will be two three times per week. Either Monday/Thursday and alternating Wednesdays or Tuesday/Friday with alternating Wednesdays. Please make sure you check your child’s class schedule and know the days.
EXPECTATIONS
I have very simple expectations:
Dress appropriately for physical activity and wear athletic shoes (something safe and comfortable to exercise in)
Students should be prepared to participate with a positive attitude.
Try their very best, cooperate with the teacher, teammates, and have fun.
*We encourage children to bring a labeled water bottle out to P.E. Please save other types of drinks for lunch.
*A mask must be worn if we need to be inside for P.E. due to inclement weather.
Physical activity must be done regularly to achieve health benefits. Therefore, your child’s participation is very important. If your child is sick or unable to participate in all activities, please send in a note.
MEDICAL EXCUSE
If your child is unable to participate in Physical Education for a medical reason, please send a note with the student including his/her first and last name, classroom teacher’s name, and a way I may contact you if I have questions. IF the medical condition requires non-participation for more than one week, please obtain a note from the medical provider stating when you child may return to Physical Education class.
If you have any questions or concerns, please contact me at rwebberley@fuesd.org
My assistant, Jessica Walters and myself look forward to a fun and rewarding year with your child!
