POTTER XC BRING HOME HARDWARE

On Wednesday October 29th, Potter XC team ran 2 miles in the Pacific Grove League Championship. Out of 13 schools, the results are;

JV Girls: 6th Place

JV Boys: 1st Place

Varsity Girls: 3rd Place

Varsity Boys: 2nd Place

A special note: Samuel Pulley (8th) got 1st place in the Varsity race making him the FIRST EVER XC Potter runner to take 1st in JV and Varsity Races. 

Coaches, Parents, Friends, Potter, and all of Fallbrook are very proud of these amazing student athletes  for running their hearts out this year and hope they can do it again next year for Potter and Fallbrook High School. 

JV Girls Basketball Champions AGAIN!

On Wednesday May 20th, JV Potter Girls Basketball team went up against Vista Magnet Middle School for the JV Championship. The game was highly contested and tough due to the extreme heat in the Vista Magnet gymnasium. The final score was 30-26 with Potter JV claiming the victory and the Gold. This is Potter's Girls Basketball team second time going UNDEFEATED and their 3rd championship in school history. The coaches are so proud of these girls efforts to being the best team in the Vista Boys and Girls Club League. We are excited for next year to see if the Lady Braves can repeat. 

BEND IT LIKE POTTER!

On Monday June 1st, the JV and Varsity Soccer teams made their championship apperance at Vista High School. JV Potter went up against Guajome Park Academy while Varsity Potter faced Vista Magnet for their respective championships. 

50 minutes of play wasn't enough for our JV teams so they went into Penalty Kicks. 

Guajome Park Academy: 4

Potter Braves: 5

For the first time ever, JV Soccer can claim championships!

Then it was Varsity Potter's turn. Varsity Potter got on the board early with a 1-0 advantage but then a free kick from Vista Magnet tied up the game. Then in the second half, Mateo Mateo Tomas blasts a kick with 8 minutes to go to give Potter a 2-1 lead. Once time ran out and Potter stopped a late rally from Vista Magnet, Varsity Potter was crowed champions! 

Varsity Potter Soccer are champions for the first time since 2018. 

We at Potter Jr. High are EXTREMELY proud of these special students that gave us coaches their time and effort to be crowned champions. This a season to remember for years to come as BOTH Soccer teams are champions. Thank you everyone on a great school year. Potter Athletics: WHERE WE BUILD CHAMPIONS!
