PJH Robotics is a FIRST LEGO League Robotics Competition team based at Potter Junior High School, Fallbrook, California. Every year, we compete in the FIRST LEGO League Robotics Competition (FLL). FIRST LEGO League teams (up to 10 members, grades 4-8) research a real-world problem such as food safety, recycling, energy, etc., and are challenged to develop a solution. They also must design, build, program a robot using LEGO MINDSTORMS®, then compete on a table-top playing field. This experience allows students to develop an interest in science, technology, engineering, and math, also known as STEM.
PJH Robotics inspires youth by promoting creativity, teamwork, and commitment to our community. We raise support for FIRST LEGO League and its mission by innovating solutions to technical challenges and publicly promoting science, technology, engineering and mathematics. Through our work as a team, we develop the skills necessary to become leaders of a dynamic and increasingly technology-dependent world.
Discovery: We explore new skills and ideas.
Innovation: We use creativity and persistence to solve problems.
Impact: We apply what we learn to improve our world.
Inclusion: We respect each other and embrace our differences.
Teamwork: We are stronger when we work together.
Fun: We enjoy and celebrate what we do!
Poway Qualifying Tournament. Our five teams made an excellent showing at the tournament. The Builderbots took the runner up trophy for Project and the Micro Braves took 1st place in Core Values! The Micro Braves will be moving on to the Southern California Finals at Legoland on December 7th. Good luck to all SoCal San Diego Region teams that are moving on to the finals!
