Welcome to 6th grade English Language Arts at La Paloma Elementary School! This is my 23rd year of teaching in FUESD and I am excited to embark on a new school year! I earned my bachelor's degree from California State University, San Marcos, and my master's degree in teaching from City University in Vancouver, Washington. My goal is to engage and connect with each of my students this year to help them be confident and successful in school and ultimately, in the real world. English Language Arts is my passion and I hope to instill and foster a love of reading, writing, listening and speaking with all of our 6th graders! Please feel free to reach out to me through e-mail, Class Dojo or by phone if you have any questions or if you would like to share some information about your child. Good communication is important in ensuring a student's success. I thank you in advance for your support at home! Looking forward to a FABULOUS year!
