Hello! My name is Jen Lopez and I am the TK-3rd grade Learning Center Teacher. I graduated from Cal State San Marcos (CSUSM)  with my General Education Credential in 2004 and taught in the general education setting for 4 years. I went back to CSUSM and received my Special Education Credential in 2009. I have both a Mild/Moderate Credential and a Moderate/Severe Credential. In 2010, I graduated from CSUSM with my Master's degree in Special Education. This will be my 22nd year as a teacher.  I have been teaching at Live Oak for the past 14 years. 

I enjoy my job and love the students that I work with. I truly appreciate each student's individuality and feel fortunate to be able to help each of my students develop their strengths and gain confidence and independence. 

Although I love my job, I absolutely cherish my time away from work, that is spent with family. My husband and I have two daughters ages 11 and 13. We love being active and spending time outdoors. As a family we love going to the beach, riding bikes, hiking, traveling and swimming in our pool.
