WELCOME TO MR. CAMBRIDGE'S CLASS

Welcome to the 2021-2022 school year! My name is John-Magus Cambridge and I am so excited to work together with you and your students this year! I believe that you are a very important part of your child’s education and I look forward to working with you as a team to make the Fifth Grade a successful year for your learner. Just a little about myself: I graduated from UCSD with my Masters in Education and my teaching credential. This is my second year of teaching here at William H. Frazier and I consider myself lucky to have landed at such an amazing school! My teaching philosophy is that we are a team that is working on constantly improving, whether that be academically or socially and emotionally. To do this we will participate in morning meetings and restorative circles. I also believe that learning should be fun and collaborative. As a result, we will be frequently working with partners and small groups and learning by playing games or inquiry-based projects. It is my hope that this year will be full of fun, engaging, and challenging experiences for your learner. I look forward to getting to know you and your child. Welcome to the Fifth Grade!
