A licence for Rigid vehicles with a GVM of over 6000kg but less than 18000kg.
An NZTA approved training course giving you the required training for you to gain you Class 2 HT driving licence. Candidates can supply their own vehicle for the practical assessment, however Forward Transport Training can source a suitable vehicle, but this is an extra cost. The course includes the Logbook & Fatigue Management training required by NZTA.
Course Prerequisites:
You must hold a Class 2 learner licence (This involves a theory test and obtaining an HT medical at a clients own cost).
Course Duration is two/three days
Cost $921.49 per person ex GST
Learner licence fees, NZQA registration, room fee and any vehicle hire costs are not included in this price.

It is recommended that students have supervised practical on-road experience before the course. Clients should be aware that the practical assessment includes not only real time on-road driving but also straight line and 90' reversing maneuvers

Full Course
This is an approved NZTA endorsement for the Transportation of Dangerous Goods by Road.
Course Duration: one day
Cost: $249.01 per person ex GST
NZQA registration and any room fees are not included in this price.
Students should have a good level of English language both oral and written, NZTA does not permit reader writer's for this course.
Refresher Courses
Course Duration: times dependent on knowledge.
Cost: $253.07 per person ex GST

Course Prerequisites: Candidates must hold the minimum of a full class 1 NZ driving licence. The size of special type vehicle endorsed is dependent on the class of driving licence held. It should be noted this course is for assessment only and not for operational training.
Current NZTA/Connexis regulations state that students may be asked to provide proof of workplace competency. Please contact FTT for further information.

Qualifying with the 'F' Forklift licence endorsement allows a person to drive on a public road.

Designed for those operating in the workplace. The course is a Competenz approved course providing the safety training required in the workplace.
This does not qualify a person to drive on the road.

This course is usually run in conjunction with the OSH course.
