Short Bio
Mochammad Ariyanto is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Diponegoro University (Undip), Indonesia. My research focuses on the intersection of robotics, AI, and biology (human/animal augmentation), encompassing areas such as AI-powered prosthetic robotics, hybrid robots/cyborgs, exoskeletons, supernumerary robotic limbs, biomimetics, and soft robotics. He earned Ph.D. degree in Robotics from Osaka University, Japan. My research aims to contribute to the advancement of human or cyborg capabilities through the development of innovative robotic technologies. He has received multiple Best Paper awards and a Best Presentation award at IEEE conferences held in Indonesia, Malaysia, China, and Japan. He has published in several top-tier robotics journals, including Cyborg and Bionic Systems, Soft Robotics, and Advanced Intelligent Systems.
He has been serving as a reviewer for Nature Communications, IEEE Robotics and Automation Letters, IEEE International Conference on Robotics and Automation (ICRA), IEEE/RSJ International Conference on Intelligent Robots and Systems (IROS), IEEE/ASME International Conference on Advanced Intelligent Mechatronics (AIM), Mechanical and Signal Processing, Expert Systems with Applications, Robotics and Autonomous Systems, Intelligent Systems with Applications, Results in Engineering, e-Prime - Advances in Electrical Engineering Electronics and Energy, Measurement, Cyborg and Bionics System (Science Partner Journal), Applied Artificial Intelligence, Sensors, Diagnostics, Processes, Frontier in Neurorobotics, Frontiers in Robotics and AI, and many others.
