Federal Student Aid

There are three types of federal student aid that students can apply for through the Department of Education:
- Grants - Money that does not need to be repaid if you fulfill the grant requirements.

- Work-Study - A program that allows students to earn money to help you pay for school expenses
- Federal Work-Study Information: https://studentaid.gov/understand-aid/types/work-study
- Student Loans - Money that students borrow to pay for school expenses. This money will need to be repaid later.

Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
Your eligibility, amount and type of Federal Student Aid is determined by information provided on your FAFSA.

Filling Out Your FAFSA
The first step to start your application is to create a Federal Student Aid ID (FSA ID).
Both you and your parent must have FSA IDs in order to complete you FAFSA
