Professor Nikolai Zhelev
Principal Investigator in the School of Medicine in the University of Dundee, Scotland and honorary Professor in eight Universities in UK, China, Bulgaria and Russia. Currently he is the President of the International BioDiscovery Federation. Professor Zhelevs’ main research interests are in the field of drug discovery and development in oncology and cardiology and management of biopharmaceutical companies. He is author of six books and more than 100 research articles in the biomedical field, including in high impact scientific journals such as Nature Medicine. Professor Zhelev has been founding member and Director of six biopharmaceutical companies working in the field of drug discovery and development, design, implementation and marketing of instrumentation and biopharmaceutical consultancy. He has been visiting scientist in Harvard Medical School and Aarhus University and consultant research scientist in King’s College London.
