Welcome to the LOC

What is the Learning Opportunity Center (LOC)?

The LOC is a computer lab where students can take online classes through either Florida Virtual School (FLVS) or St. Johns River State College (SJRSC). Students can take academic courses, Honors courses, Advanced Placement courses, Dual Enrollment college courses, or electives. We have served students from the Blind Middle School, Deaf Middle School, Blind High School, and Deaf High School departments.

Courses that have been offered in the LOC since 2008-2009.

Extra Help/Tutoring

I will be available after school twice a week for students who need additional help. Students need to sign up on the day that they would like to stay after school to be sure that I will be in my classroom. Tutoring is also available through the school (appointments are set up on an individual basis). To set up tutoring, please contact your child's Assistant Principal. There is also Homework Help after school two times a week and Night Library twice a week.
