Welcome! My name is Marissa Harrer and this is my 13th year teaching at the Florida School for the Deaf and the Blind. I am so excited to teach Learning Lab again this year! A little background information on me to start things off: I was born and raised in Plant City, FL. I was one of those kids that knew right away that I wanted to be a teacher. I graduated from Plant City High School and went straight to Flagler College to become a teacher. I also have a Masters in Educational Technology from the University of North Florida and I love being techy in the classroom! Some things I love: the color teal, MUSIC, and strawberries.

Hello, hand waving! My name is Nicholas Stanfield and this will be my 3rd year teaching. I will be teaching Language Lab this year. I am confident that we will have a great school year! A bit of information about me: I was born in Gainesville, FL and went to Florida School for Deaf and Blind (FSDB) in middle school. After graduating high school from FSDB, I went to Gallaudet University for 5 years. I am currently in the Masters Program for Deaf Education at McDaniel College and will obtain my degree in May! Some of the things I love are watching football and being the assistant coach for FSDB's 8-man football team. Also, GO GATORS AND DETROIT LIONS! In addition, I enjoy playing video games, watching anime, and reading books.Â
