Information for Presenters

We are delighted that you are willing to present at the 2017 FSD1 Professional Practices Conference, Monday, August 14, 2017.

Conference location: South Florence High School

3200 South Irby Street

Florence, SC 29505

South Florence will be open on Friday, August 11th from 2:00 - 7:00 p.m. and Saturday, 12:00 - 5:00 p.m. if you would like to check out your assigned room, drop off materials, etc.

The building will be open at 7:00 a.m. on Monday August 14th.

When you arrive at South Florence, please sign-in at the presenter table to receive a handout with important information.

The conference will begin promptly at 8:30 a.m.

Parking: We reserved parking spaces at the front of the school for Out of District presenters only. Parking passes will be sent via email. ROTC will be assisting with parking if you have any questions.

Uploading session handouts for attendees: Once you have a user name and password for sched.org (see "sessions" tab for more information), you should be able to upload any documents that you might wish to make available to your attendees as well as edit the description of your session. If you see a problem with your session, please email Susan Rhodes at srhodes@fsd1.org.

Information regarding technology:

• Most sessions are being held in regular classrooms.
• Each classroom is equipped with a SMART board and projector.
• The school has wireless internet. Out of district trainers will be able to sign on using FSD1 Guest internet.
• Our technology department will be on-site to help troubleshoot if necessary.
• Session attendees are being asked to bring a laptop, Chromebook, or other smart device with them.
