Hi bobcats! My name is Lisa Brown and this is my first year as the Curriculum Director for Fruitvale ISD. I'm excited to join the bobcat family! Before joining Fruitvale, I taught 1st grade, 2nd grade, and 3rd grade. After that, I became an Instructional Coach and then Assistant Principal. Finally, I've been Principal of a 4th, 5th and 6th grade campus for the last eight years. I graduated with my Bachelors of Interdisciplinary Studies from The University of Texas at Tyler in 2001 and then I earned a Masters in Educational Leadership from Stephen F. Austin in 2007. I've been happily married for 31 years and I have two children and two grandchildren. I love camping, reading, fishing, shopping, and spending time with my family.

Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have questions regarding curriculum, instruction, or federal programs such as McKinney-Vento homeless services, foster care services, parent resources, etc.
