The CGS PTO's fundraising efforts mainly contribute to The Student Activity Fund. This fund provides money throughout the year to classroom enrichment activities - such as books, art materials, and recess supplies. It also helps fund enrichment programs such as the Native American artist residency, author visits, class field trips, and Arts Day.
In addition, we use funds to provide for Teacher Appreciation Week and other school community events such as the Kid's Market and the Spring Fling. We also support our growing Farm to School Program and any capital initiatives as they arise.
This school year, the PTO has the following fundraisers planned:
Dean's Beans Fundraiser, October & February
"Sports Cafe" bake sales, tbd
Hillside Pizza Fundraiser, November
Movie Matinees at The Garden Cinema, December & March.
Talent Show Concession Stand and Flower Sale
