I am so excited to a binder, a folder,  pencils and a pencil case and a charged chromebook daily.  Also remember to bring your agenda each day.

Tuesday May 21- T shirt worksheet - students should design and color a t shirt that might be worn by a character in the book "Thin Wood Walls" - due tomorrow!

Monday May 20 - No homework for tonight - enjoy the lovely weather.

Wednesday, May 15 - Please bring ear buds to class tomorrow.  Review packet of ELA skills is due on Monday, May 20.

Tuesday, May 14 -  The first 8 social justice vocbulary slides are due tomorrow.  

Monday May 13 - Some people owe me work from last week!  The Snake Island/North Sentinel Island writing piece is due by Wednesday.  The first 8 slides of our social justice vocabulary are due by Wednesday as well.

Wednesday, May 8 - Two more days of testing!  Keep up the great work!  Social Justice Vocabulary slides, in our google classroom - please complete the first 4 slides by MONDAY.

Tuesday, May 7 - Keep those chromebooks charged and get your rest! Eat a healthy breakfast and be prepared for testing tomorrow.

Monday - May 6- Please don't forget to charge your chromebooks and bring your earbuds in!  Also, make sure to rest and eat a healthy breakfast.  

Friday May 3 - Don't forget- testing starts on MONDAY!  Please make sure your chrome books are fully charged, you have a pair of wired earbuds, and a pencil.  Also, make sure to get a good night's rest and eat breakfast in the morning.  Lunch will be about 30 minutes later than usual, so if you want you can bring in a snack to eat.  

Monday, April 29 - Story Elements test is TOMORROW!  Students have a study guide and there is one available in my google classroom.  Dialogue packet is due on Wednesday, May 1. Don't forget next week is testing - we need wired earbuds and charged chromebooks.

Wednesday April 24 - Story elements packet is due tomorrow.  Story elements quiz is on Monday.

Please bring in wired earbuds for testing which starts on May 6!

Monday April 22 - Book Fair tomorrow!  Story Elements Packet is due on Thursday, April 25. 

Thursday April 18 - Students have a main idea packet due tomorrow and we will be going to the book fair on Tuesday April 23.

Tuesday April 16 - nonfiction book project is due tomorrow, main idea packet is due on Friday.

Monday April 15 - NF BOOK PROJECT IS DUE ON WEDNESDAY -PLEASE WORK ON IT AT HOME.

Thursday April 11 - Worksheet on prefixes is due tomorrow.  Nonfiction book project is due on Wednesday April 17.

Wednesday April 10 - Worksheet on commas and point of view due tomorrow.  STUDENTS ALSO HAVE A NONFICTION BOOK PROJECT THAT IS DUE ON WEDNESDAY APRIL 17 IN GOOGLE CLASSROOM.

Tuesday March 26 - Our Google Sites Research Projects are due on Thursday!  Remember - no school on Friday.  If any one can send in tissues, pencils or pens, we are in great need!

Wednesday March 20 - Prefix packet is due next Wednesday, March 27.  Your Google Site Research Project is due on Thursday, March 28!

Monday March 11 - Online Video Games reading packet and questions due Wednesday, March 13.  Word Study test on the Greek and Latin Roots - loc, nat, ped, sign and cogn on Friday March 15!

Friday  March 8 - Greek and Latin Roots - 2 Packet due on Monday!  Quiz on these roots on Friday, March 15.

Thursday March 7 - Greek and Latin Roots Packet - loc, nat, ped, sign, cogn - due on Monday March 11.

Monday, March 4 - Complete the reading and worksheet- "Chicken Nuggets, Anyone?" due tomorrow.  Please bring in a box of tissues if you can.   Bring your independent reading book to class every day.

Friday March 1 - If anyone can send in a box or two of tissues we would appreciate it - we have 1 box left!

Monday, November 27 - Quiz on Figurative Language tomorrow - use your study guide, play the blooket in our google classroom to help yourself prepare.  

Wednesday, November 22 - No homework!  Except... have a wonderful Thanksgiving, do something kind for someone else and be grateful for all the good things you have!

Tuesday, November 21 - Finish Classwork on Figurative Language and Chapter 16 questions.  

Nov 17 - Check your grades on Genesis for missing work in all your classes.  Have a great weekend!

Wednesday, November 15 - Complete the Hyperbole worksheet for homework tonight.

Tuesday November 14 - Complete the "Dear Diary" worksheet on context clues.  If you owe yesterday's homework please finish it!

Monday, November 13 - Please finish any classwork from our google classroom - context clues google form and reading Chapter 10 of "Restart" and answering the questions in our google classroom.

Friday, November 3 - If you did not complete the homework from Wednesday you now have it in written form and it is due on Monday - not everyone has this assignment (check agendas!)

Thursday November 2 - If you did not complete last night's homework you MUST complete it tonight! Tomorrow is Twin Day!

Wednesday, November 1 - Complete "Summarizing Does not Include your Opinion".  It is a google slide activity in our google classroom under today's date. Tomorrow is HAT DAY!

Thursday October 26 - Tomorrow wear our school colors, blue and grey!  If you have not read through chapter 3 of "Restart" make sure you read it tonight!

Wednesday October 25 - Tomorrow wear comfy clothes to school.  Read through chapter 3 of "Restart" ( remember - it is also on Learning Ally!) and make sure to take notes while you read.

Tuesday, October 24 - Halloween Traditions summarizing worksheet - due tomorrow!  Wear jeans to school tomorrow!

Monday, October 23 - Halloween Traditions summarizing worksheet - due Wednesday. Tomorrow wear pajamas to school!  Plot project is due Friday- we are working on it in class.

Thursday, October 18 - Summarizing Fiction do tomorrow!  Quiz on Signposts tomorrow!

Wednesday, October 17 - Summarizing Fiction packet due Friday.  Quiz on Signposts ( Contrasts and Contradictions, Aha! Moments, Words of the Wiser, Again and Again, Tough Questions and Memory Moments) on Friday - if you complete your study guide you can use it on the quiz!

Monday October 16 - Summarizing Fiction Packet due on Friday.  Tomorrow is a half day, bring a healthy snack to school.  Signposts test on Friday!

Thursday, October 12 - Complete Picture a Day - Write in complete sentences! Due tomorrow.

Tuesday October 10 - Complete Picture a Day - 2 sided worksheet.  Write in complete sentences, due on Friday.

Monday, October 9 - Complete Picture a day packet in COMPLETE SENTENCES by Friday.

Friday, September 8th - Be prepared to do a 3 minute talk about your summer reading on Wednesday, Sept 13th.  If you did not read anything I will give you a short story to read on Monday.
