Meet the Teacher

Hello! My name is Mrs. Smits and I will be your teacher for this school year! I graduated from Rider University in 2004 with my bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and Music. I have worked as a second grade teacher in Monroe Township for 10 years and here at Robert Hunter for 11 years.  This is my 21st year teaching.  I enjoy camping, playing violin, gardening and watching both my children Irish Dance! .  My favorite subject is Science and I LOVE IT SO MUCH.  I can't wait to teach you all kinds of neat things.
