Dear Kindergarten Friend,
My name is Mrs. Davis, and I will be your Kindergarten teacher when you begin school at Barley Sheaf. I'm so looking forward to meeting you and the other students in our class.
I wanted to let you know a little about myself. I live in Flemington with my husband, Mr. Davis, and our three daughters, Hannah, Ivy and Charlotte. I actually live on Barley Sheaf Road! Hannah is an Occupational Therapist at a School in New York , Ivy is a Data Analyst in Public Health and Charlotte will be a sophomore at University of Vermont. All three of my daughters went to kindergarten at Barley Sheaf- just like you will! We spent our summer going to the beach, working in our garden and enjoying family time. I hope you had lots of fun this summer and have stories to share with me about your adventures when you get to school.
Kindergarten is so much fun! We will be learning, exploring and meeting new friends. We will be doing many interesting projects during the year. We ask that you bring the following supplies to use in the classroom:
● 6 boxes of Crayola 24 pack crayons (regular size- not the washable kind)
● 4 Elmer's washable School Glue sticks (.77 oz. size)
● 1 box of tissues
● 1 box of Crayola assorted markers (not skinny markers)
Please Note: Supplies can be dropped off when you come to Kindergarten Orientation on Thursday, August 21st or on the first day of school.
For the first day of school, you also need to bring a roomy backpack- large enough to hold a folder, two library books, and a lunch box.
I look forward to meeting you on Thursday, August 21st!
See you soon!
Mrs. Davis
