My name is Mr. Sobieski, and I am so excited to be your teacher this year! I am a resident of Lambertville, New Jersey. I received a Bachelor of Science degree in Health & Exercise Science with a minor in Psychology from The College of New Jersey in August 2014. I then went on to receive a post-baccalaureate degree in Elementary Education [K-6] and Special Education [K-12] from Georgian Court University in May 2017. This year, I am thrilled to be joining the Barley Sheaf community as a 2nd grade teacher!
This is my 7th year of teaching, and my 1st year teaching at Barley Sheaf! Over the past 6 years, I've taught Grades 1-3 as both a General and Special Education Teacher in the Monroe Township School District before joining the Flemington-Raritan School District.
My interests include listening to music, traveling, exercising, practicing mindfulness, reading, writing, drawing, seeing my friends and family, and spending time with my husband, Jamison, and our Cavachon puppy, Sadie. Last summer, I had the privilege of traveling to Portugal, and will be returning to Europe this summer to visit Ireland and Iceland!
I'm truly excited to bring my passion and talents into the classroom and see what this school year will bring! I look forward to working with your child. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions or concerns at any point during the school year.
