Welcome to 1st Grade - Meet the Teachers

Mrs. McPeek

I am Mrs. McPeek and this is my twenty fourth year as a teacher at Robert Hunter! I have taught kindergarten, student support and first grade. This is my fourth year co-teaching with Ms. Edelsberg. I have a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Florida State University and received my masters degree from Gratz College. During my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and love watching my children play baseball, football and lacrosse. I'm excited to start the school year and meet so many new friends. I know we will have a wonderful and exciting year together!

Ms. Edelsberg

I am Ms. Edelsberg and this is my sixth year as a teacher at Robert Hunter! I taught kindergarten for my first two years and I am now in my fourth year teaching first grade alongside Mrs. McPeek. I graduated from the University of Maryland with a dual certification in Early Childhood Education and Early Childhood Special Education. When I am not teaching, I like to spend time with my family and friends, cook and bake, watch sports, and go on hikes. I am so excited to see all of the amazing things we will accomplish together this year!
