I do not give grades...you earn them.

Your overall grade for the class is based on your total accumulation of points for the trimester and the total points possible for the trimester. Points are earned through successful completion as well as the quality of the following:

• Homework

• Classwork & participation

• Unit assessments

• Formal writing pieces (extended constructed responses/ECRs & essays)

• Projects

Late Work

If you do not have the homework assignment on the day that it is due, you are still expected to complete the work. In some cases, you will have the opportunity to earn half credit if you bring the completed assignment the following class. All late formally scored assignments will receive a deduction in points for each day that the assignment is late. It is your responsibility to turn in late work. 

*Remember, all paper-based assignments are due at the beginning of class, while all digital assignments must be “turned-in” via Google Classroom prior to the start of class.
