Virtual Learning
Tips for Parents for Successful Virtual Learning
The most important thing to have is a routine, and predictability. Kids need a structured day.” Routines and predictability are proven to be calming during times of stress” -Bransetter(school psychologist)
Process feelings together. For students who don't want to talk about it, try doing an activity together and talking about what you are doing to alleviate stress.
To help mood, get moving. It is important to be active whether that be a bike ride or a walk around the block.
Daily check in. Make it a part of your schedule to check on how the school day went and what needs to be done to stay on track.
