I've been teaching in FRSD since 2005, starting at RFIS as a 6th-grade math teacher before moving into Math Support. This is now my third year at JP Case. Before joining RFSD, I taught 5th, 6th, and 7th-grade math in South Orange-Maplewood and Summit, NJ.
I’m a proud graduate of Boston College and earned my Master’s in Education from the University of Delaware. Fall 2025 marks the beginning of my 27th year in teaching!
Over the years, I’ve spent most of my time working with middle school students, and it’s truly where my heart is. I love this age group—they're energetic, talkative, funny, and full of strong opinions. Seventh graders, in particular, are at such a unique stage. They’re eager to be heard and appreciated, but they also value their growing independence—and I enjoy helping them navigate that balance.
I am mom to a 12th-grade daughter and a 9th-grade son. As a family, we like to spend time at the shore. We also have a golden retriever, Teddy. We spend lots of time throwing tennis balls or retrieving socks from his mouth. He is a very good boy.
