• Piper Henderson - Piper is a senior this year and is going out with a bang as Editor-in-Chief! Piper loves to write, read, listen to music, and loves everything outdoors. Her favorite band is The Velvet Underground, favorite movie is La La Land, and favorite book is Piranese. Most of all, she's psyched to have such an amazing club this year!!

• Averie de Guzman - Averie is a junior at BHS, and can't wait to be deputy EIC of The Rock this year! She is also choir club president and vice president of theatre club. She enjoys writing vignettes, short stories, and one-acts. Averie loves listening to all sorts of music, Stardew Valley, La La Land, and legos.

• Alexandra Yund  - Alexandra loves to write stories of all sorts and reads whenever possible--especially with her dog, Gracie. One of her favorite inspirational places is the beach in the rain. She loves to do taekwondo with her sister and is always up for hearing a book recommendation!

• Janneke Broekhoff - Janneke has been an avid writer for the past 5 years. When she’s not writing, she has her nose buried in a book, or is doing something with theater or choir. Her favorite genres are historical fiction, fantasy romance, and philosophy.

• Elin Donaldson-Martin  - Elin is creative director for The Rock and has been writing consistently since the sixth grade. She loves fantasy, horror, and vintage sci-fi and for some reason most of her projects revolve around sentient birds. Elin currently owns three hundred cats and hopes to bring at least one hundred and fifty of them with her to university overseas next year

• George Savastinuk - George is a BHS senior, an enthusiastic music listener, and spends a lot of his free time playing guitar, and helping out with theater tech.

• Saiya McElderry - Saiya has been a part of the Rock family since freshman year. Reading other's writing motivates and inspires her; writing moves and grounds her. She has loved watching the Rock grow and, as graduation approaches, is so grateful for the space the Rock has created for student voice.

• Dashiell Tibbals - Dashiell is a senior. Born in San Francisco CA, before moving to Bainbridge freshman year. Dashiell loves writing and reading, as well as history, running, and helping others. He is excited to help others express themselves through writing. He is in like half the clubs at the high school, and hopes to see you around! :)

• Kellen Diercks - Kellen Diercks is a senior at Bainbridge High School, and an avid runner. He's been writing his entire life, but likes to focus on poetry. He loves the outdoors, watching sports, and playing video games.

• Joe Hughes - Joe loves reading the works of C.S Lewis and Tolkien, working out, and listening to dad rock. When he's not doing these things, he's usually acting in theatre, hanging out with friends, playing video games, or studying Christian theology.

• Cole Deussen - Writer, Reader, Circus Fanatic, and Two-time editor of the Rock Literary Magazine. Cole spends most of his time on either his creative pursuits or Sport Fencing.

• Callie Wilkinson - Callie likes spending her time with sports, painting, hanging out with friends, sailing, and writing creative poems. She is a junior and is new to the club and writes poems and stories daily. She is excited to share her stories/poems!

• Anne Berry - Anne Berry is a sophomore. She loves writing, drawing, and her cat (his name is Sunny). She is excited to edit all the things you’ll write this year. 

• Marie Costanzo - Marie is a sophomore who joined the Rock this year! She loves writing, global health club, and collecting vinyls. She can't wait to get started on writing for the Rock.

• Axel Wheeler - Axel Wheeler is not as talented as Hugo Gustafson but does love to act and is slowly getting trained in the ways of Hugo. Axel has mastered the art of 8 ball and hopes to learn how to defy gravity like Hugo does. Hugo and Axel both know that there is no way Lily will be able to handle 2 Hugo's but that's what makes it funny. 

• Audrey Yund - Audrey Yund is a Freshman and is excited to be a member of the Rock. Her favorite time of year is Fall, as it is the season she finds most inspirational. On rainy days she loves to write or draw. Audrey's favorite books to read are ones packed full of excitement and adventure. 

• William Dodge - William Dodge is a student at BHS and loves to write. Despite being late to reading, William now spends most of his time reading and writing. He believes stories are one of the most important aspects of humanity. Other hobbies of Williams are: running, playing video games (he likes Elden Ring), and knitting. He is excited to be a part of The Rock.
