Meet your Counselor

Ms. Etter is in her 7th year at Wester Middle School and third year as a school counselor. Before becoming a school counselor, Ms. Etter taught ILA for 4 years and coached cheer. She has a Master's Degree in Professional School Counseling from Angelo State University and has a passion for building positive relationships with students, staff, and the community. Ms. Etter is excited to work with students!

Ms. Belt's background is in Education with an emphasis in English and Social Studies. She has taught in many different types of classrooms and served all different kinds of students over the course of her time in education. She loves sports, dogs, Texas A&M, and traveling and has a strong passion to serve her community in every way she possibly can. Ms. Belt is excited to help make Wester feel like home to students, staff, and families alike!
