Background
Coach Marshall is starting his first year with Wakeland after spending the past 2 years with Woodrow Wilson HS in Dallas ISD. During his time there, he helped lead the team to back-to-back district titles for the girls as well as the boys earning their first district title in over 7 years. During the 2020-21 swim season, his swimmers had five top-5 finishes at the UIL state championship, including an individual state title in the girls 200 individual medley. Prior to his time at Woodrow Wilson, Coach Marshall spent 2 seasons with Bishop Lynch High School. There, he led the team to back-to-back top 5 team finishes at the TAPPS state swim meet (girls). Coach Marshall has also spent the past 10 years coaching on the club side as an age group coach for the Dallas Mustangs.
Coach Marshall is from the Dallas area, having grown up in Plano, TX. After attending Jesuit College Prep, Coach Marshall competed in division-one collegiate swimming for Miami University. He is married to his wife, Kasi. Together, they have a daughter named Landry and a son named Mayer.
