Ask the Librarian

Hello! I am Mrs. Hon, and I am starting my 24th year in education. I obtained my Master's Degree in Library and Information Science from Texas Woman's University. Prior to becoming a school librarian, I earned a Bachelor's degree from Texas A&M University (whoop!) and went on to teach High School English for twenty years. My favorite part of being a school librarian is helping students find what they need, be it books, digital information, or just a place to relax, read or study. Outside of school, I enjoy working out, spending time with family, friends, our two dogs, cheering on the Dallas Stars hockey team, snow skiing, and of course - reading! I love to learn and always encourage students to remain curious.
