Hello Scott Families!

I am Katie Davis and I'm so excited to be returning to the awesome 3rd grade team at Scott Elementary. This is my 14th year in Education and my 8th year at Scott.   Prior to moving to teaching 3rd grade three years ago, I taught 5 years in 4th grade and 5 years in Pre-K. I look forward to meeting and working with you all.

I am originally from Southern California. I moved to Texas in 5th grade and attended middle and high school in Coppell. We moved to McKinney in 2017 and live right here in the Scott neighborhood.  I married my high school sweetheart, Bryan in 2009 and we have two kiddos, Jayce who will be a freshman at Heritage and Marlie will be a 6th grader at Roach. Both of my kids went to Scott K-5. We also have two cats Taco and Latte.  I earned a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education in 2010 from Texas Woman's University and a masters degree in Reading Intervention in 2018 also from TWU.

When I'm not at school, I enjoy reading, relaxing, traveling and spending time with my family.
