Hi, my name is Jana Stacy, formerly Jana Jones. This will be my 15th year in the classroom and with FISD. This is my sixth year at Talley, and before I taught 9 years at Isbell. I graduated from Texas A&M University in May 2008 with a Bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary Studies. Go Aggies!

I grew up in Sherman, Texas. I come from a family of educators. My mother was a high school math teacher and my sister, Lara Russey, was a chemistry for 15 years. When I have free time, I love to travel and spend time with family and friends. I have a wonderful husband named Travis and we have a sweet dog named Sadie. She is 10 pounds of perfection!

Educating children is my passion! I believe all children should feel successful and enjoy school while striving to meet their individual goals. I firmly believe children need to be happy and feel safe in order to grow as a learner.

I am so excited to embark on this wonderful year of learning!
