Hello, my name is Michele Roeren and this will be my fifth year on the 5th grade team at Sparks. I graduated from The University of North Texas with a degree in Finance and then attended The University of Texas at Arlington to obtain my certification in Elementary Education. This is my twelfth year in education.
I have lived in Frisco with my husband, Thor, for 23 years. We have 4 boys, Eric, Jake, Alex, and Luke, who have all attended Sparks. Eric is a junior at UTD, Jake is a sophomore at UT, Alex is in 12th grade at Reedy, and Luke is in 7th grade at Pioneer. Our house is very busy with many activities. When I'm not at school, you can usually find me at a soccer, band, cross country/track, or football activity with my kids.
I will be teaching math, science, and social studies this year. My teaching partner is Mrs. Pilkinton, she will teach reading and writing.
I love teaching and can't wait to share the school year with you and your child.
