Second grade students will be recognized for birthdays in their individual classrooms with a small gift bag from the teacher.  If you choose to send in birthday treats, they must be individually packaged to pass out and send home at the end of the day.   You may also donate a book to the class library in your child’s name or send a small non-edible treat such as a pencil, sticker or small toy.  Treat bags are also welcomed.

Students wanting to give out invitations to individual birthday parties or other celebrations may only do so at school if all students in the class are invited.  These birthday invitations must be passed out at the end of the day with permission from the teacher.
