The Texas 2x2 Reading Program was created to encourage early readers age two to grade two. Every year the Texas Children's Round Table (CRT) reads through hundreds of books and narrows the selection to 20 fantastic books!

Let's Get Started!
Just read or listen to all of the books at home, at school, or in the library and keep track of your reading by completing the 2x2 Coloring Boot Log (click the boot image to the right to make a copy). Students, remember to color one piece of the boot puzzle for each book read or read aloud.
When you finish, have your parent sign it and return your completed sheet to your classroom teacher. Students will receive a prize from Mrs. Browne !
*Last day for PreK-2nd to turn in the 2x2 log is *Thursday, March 28, 2024. (*Date Correction since Friday, March 29 is a holiday.)

That's it! *The last day to submit TBB Forms is Friday, January 19, 2024.
Students must read and complete a Bluebonnet Form for five of this year's twenty Bluebonnet nominee in order to be eligible to vote for their favorite book in January and to receive a prize.
A list of 20 great new books are selected every school year. Texas students have been reading and voting on bluebonnet books since 1981!
