Morgan Hicks

Hi there! My name is Morgan Hicks and I am thrilled to be a part of the Smith family again this year! I am originally from Flower Mound, Texas. I attended Baylor University and graduated with a degree in Elementary Education and moved to the Frisco area after graduation. I am currently getting my Masters in Curriculum and Instruction from Texas A&M. This will be my 6th year in Frisco ISD. Teaching has always been my passion and my goal is to love on, encourage, and empower every child that comes into my classroom! In my free time I love to bake, read, and go to the lake! I recently got engaged this past summer! I am beyond excited to meet you all and cannot wait to make this year a great one in 2nd grade!

Rebekah Clark

Howdy! My name is Rebekah Clark, and I am so excited to continue my journey here at Smith Elementary in Second Grade! When I was in elementary school, I attended Smith Elementary, and since I was in Kindergarten, I had the dream of being a teacher here at Smith! And here I am now achieving my childhood dream! I attended Texas A&M University, where I graduated with a degree in Elementary Education and a Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction. Some of my favorite things to do are sightseeing all around Texas, going out to dinner, watching all sports, and reading outside. When I am not teaching, you can find me teaching or taking a Pilates Class!

McKinna McCaffrey

Hi Smith Community! My name is McKinna McCaffrey. I am so beyond excited to be staying with the second grade team this year! This will be my seventh year teaching and fifth year with Frisco ISD. I am originally from a small town in Kansas. I got my degree from Kansas State University and moved to Texas shortly after graduation. I live in McKinney with my husband, Patrick. I love to read, explore hiking trails, and attend all kinds of sporting events in my free time. Teaching is truly a passion of mine and I look forward to sharing my love of learning with my students. 

Lindsey Redburn

Hello!  My name is Lindsey Redburn. I have been teaching at Smith for 24 years and I love it! I have a wonderful husband and two children, Hogan is a senior and Blakely is a freshman at Lebanon Trail!  We also have a furbaby named Mason who loves to play and swim in our pool!  Our family loves to cheer on our Oklahoma State Cowboys! Go Pokes! Teaching kiddos has always been my calling, and I am excited to start my 27th year in education. 

Tyniah Murry 

Hey! My name is Tyniah Murry. I have been teaching for 7 years, 5 years in Alabama and 2 years in Texas! I'm excited to begin my 8th year at Smith! I am from Birmingham, Alabama and graduated from Troy University with a degree in Elementary Education. I moved to Texas with my dog, Peter Barker, and we've been loving every minute! Joining the Smith family has been the best decision! My passion is to always be teachable and to share knowledge with young minds. I chose teaching to fulfill my love for creativity and fostering a safe space for learning and growing. Aside from teaching, I love to workout, watch SEC football, and try new recipes. Let's have an amazing year of learning!
