Morgan Hicks

Hi there! My name is Morgan Hicks and I am thrilled to be a part of the Smith family again this year! I am originally from Flower Mound, Texas. I attended Baylor University and graduated with a degree in Elementary Education and moved to the Frisco area after graduation. This will be my third year in Frisco ISD. Teaching has always been my passion and my goal is to love on, encourage, and empower every child that comes into my classroom! In my free time I love to bake, read, and go to the lake! I am beyond excited to meet you all and cannot wait to make this year a great one in 2nd grade!

Rebekah Clark

Howdy! My name is Rebekah Clark and I am so excited to be a part of the Smith family! When I was in elementary school I attended Smith Elementary, and since I was in Kindergarten I had the dream of being a teacher here at Smith! And here I am now achieving my childhood dream! I attended Texas A&M University where I graduated with a degree in Elementary Education. I am currently pursuing a Master's degree in Education also at Texas A&M (online).  Some of my favorite things to do are going site seeing all around Texas, going out to dinner, watching all sports, and going for walks.  Teaching has always been what I want to do and I am so excited to get started!

McKinna McCaffrey

Hi Smith Community! My name is McKinna McCaffrey. I am so beyond excited to be staying with the second grade team this year! This will be my fourth year teaching and second year here in Frisco ISD. I am originally from a small town in Kansas. I got my degree from Kansas State University and moved to Texas shortly after graduation. I live in McKinney with my husband, Patrick. I love to read and explore hiking trails in my free time. Teaching is truly a passion of mine and I look forward to sharing my love of learning with my students. 

Lindsey Redburn

Hello!  My name is Lindsey Redburn. I have been teaching at Smith for 21 years and I love it! I have a wonderful husband and two children, Hogan is a freshman at Lebanon Trail,  and Blakely is in 6th grade at Clark Middle School!  We also have a furbaby named Mason who loves to play and swim in our pool!  Our family loves to cheer on our Oklahoma State Cowboys! Go Pokes! Teaching kiddos has always been my calling, and I am excited to start my 24th year in education. 

Courtney Bacon

Hello everyone! My name is Courtney Bacon and I'm entering my 8th year of teaching. This is my fifth year teaching at Smith and I am so excited to be going back into the 2nd grade classroom! I graduated from Texas A&M University-Central Texas with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology. I have been married to my husband Ricky for 10 years. Together we share our rambunctious Kindergartener, Gunner who is 5 years old, our sassy girl, Grace who will be 4 in November, and our bouncing baby boy Gatlin who will be one in November!  I love reading books, working on DIY projects, baking, and going on adventures with my family in my spare-time. I'm a big believer in "the more you know, the more you grow!" I just know that this is going to be an amazing year filled with love and learning!
