Hello everyone! My name is Courtney Gallagher, and I am thrilled to be your first-grade teacher this year! This will be my sixth year teaching and my fourth year at Smith Elementary. Outside of school, I have two adorable cats named Arya and Sansa, and a sweet dog named Buck. My husband and I are also excited to be expecting our first child, a baby girl named Miley, in September! In my free time, I love spending time with my husband and friends we enjoy playing pickleball, playing board games, and traveling together.

I am looking forward to a fantastic school year filled with learning, fun, and building wonderful relationships with each of my students. Let's make this year GREAT!

My name is Riley Jones and I graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University. I attended Frisco ISD schools from first grade through 12th grade, so I know just how wonderful this school district is and truly feel at home. I have wanted to be a teacher since I was a little girl and still can’t believe I get to teach in the same amazing district I graduated from! I am so happy to be a part of the Smith family. I am so excited to build positive relationships with all of my students and will strive to be a bright light in their lives. I can’t wait to get this year started!

Hey there! I am so excited to be kicking off year 6 in education this school year here at Smith Elementary. I grew up in the great state of Louisiana and graduated from Louisiana tech in 2020 with a degree in Elementary Education. I took a leap of faith and moved to Texas two years ago and I have loved building a life here in the DFW area over the last few years. I am the proud mama to a doodle named Ace! He is my heart, soul and center of my universe! Outside of school, my favorite thing to do is travel the world and make incredible memories with my sweet family and friends!

I consider myself the luckiest person to get to teach your kiddo this school year. Teaching is my passion and I deeply love getting to make learning fun, engaging, and tangible for all learners! I look forward to building groundbreaking relationships within our classroom community as we journey throughout this 25-26 school year!

Hi all, I'm Mrs. Tullbane! I am so excited to be starting my 5th year in 1st grade! I was raised in Plano and graduated from Texas Christian University in 2021 with a degree in Early Childhood Education. I then taught in Mansfield for a few years & married my husband Will in 2023. We moved back to Plano last year and now this is my 2nd year at Smith! We welcomed our beautiful baby girl Sophia in November 2024 & also raise our four-legged dog child Charlie!! When I'm not teaching, I love to cook, workout, and spend time with my family! I can't wait to get to know your family this year!
