CLASSROOM INFORMATION
Water Bottles:
Please have your student bring a water bottle each day. Our classroom doors must be locked at all times, so this will limit distractions during learning time.
Homework:
20 minutes of reading each night
Math Help: Frisco ISD Apps on the student portal
Spelling Lists will be linked in the weekly email as well as posted on our 2nd grade website.
Take Home Folder:
Your child’s teacher will not check their take home folder daily. We will of course remind them, but ultimately it is your child’s responsibility to turn in notes and work.
Grades:
Your child will be receiving grades for the first time! Graded work will be sent home for your review.
Arrival and Dismissal:
School starts at 7:45. Please do not drop your child off prior to 7:20 as the building will not be open.
Dismissal is at 3:05.
If your pick up plan changes, please notify the office and email your child’s teacher before 2:00 pm.
Absences:
Absences should be reported directly on the Shawnee Trail Website
