Candi Patterson

Education/Experience: Hello! My name is Candi Patterson and I have been in education over 20 years. I started my career as a elementary and middle school teacher. After earning my master's degree from Lamar University I became a high school counselor and just recently went back to my roots in middle school. My Why: To facilitate the growth of happy, kind, well-rounded, productive humans that strive to be lifelong learners who value being great citizens in their communities.

Family/Fun: My husband and I have been married for 25 years. I have a son who is 23 and a daughter who is 22. My 2 puppies are Axl and Ozzy. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends but, my favorite past times are singing and going to Broadway musicals.

Jen Sebring

8th Grade

Education/Experience: Ms. Sebring graduated from the University of North Texas in 2007 with a Generalist 4-8 Bachelor's degree in Education. After teaching middle school for 5 years, she moved on to start a photography business. 10 years of fun with photos later and she was ready to come back to school! In January of 2021, Ms. Sebring went back to Liberty University for her Master's Degree in School Counseling. This is her first official year as a school counselor after interning at Scoggins for 6 months! My Why: To help create a school culture of success by advocating for the needs of all students and staff… in other words, how can I help you be happy and successful??

Family/Fun: Ms. Sebring has 3 daughters and 1 grandson! She LOVES to laugh, play board games (any games, really!), watch The Office or reality tv, go on walks, karaoke, and go to the beach!
