How Many Books can my child check out at a time?

PreK and Kinder- 1 book

1st grade- 2 books

2nd-5th grade- 3 books

When are books due?

Students may keep books for up to two weeks. If they want to keep the book longer, they may renew it.

How often does my child visit the library?

PreK-1st grade visit the library weekly

2nd-5th grade visit the library bi-weekly

2nd-5th grade may also visit the library during open library: Monday and Friday 7:25-7:45am

I got an email with an overdue notice. What now?

The overdue email notices are sent out automatically from the library system. There are no fines for overdue books, only lost/damaged books. Your child can return to the library drop box (by the library door) or wait until their next library day.

I would like to keep up with what my child has checked out. How can I do that?

Students and Parents in Frisco ISD have access to their child's library account via Clever.

Log into Clever
Search "Library Catalog"
When the catalog pops up, click on the bottom left hand corner "Back to Catalog"
Log in with student ID and birthdate (top right hand corner)
Click on "View Loans" for current checkouts OR "View Loan History" for all checkouts

When are all books due for the end of the school year?

All books are due by May 6.
