Checking Out a Book in the Ogle Elementary Library

Students in Kinder and 1st grade are allowed to check out 1 book at this time. They are allowed up to 2 books out at any given time.

Students in 2nd thru 5th grade are allowed to check out up to 3 book at this time. They are allowed up to 3 books out at any given time.

***Virtual Academy students will utilize Library 2 Go (see below).

Students in the Virtual Academy will be allowed to check out library bundles or request specific titles. Students will complete an interest survey to give Mrs. Bevers general topics of interest. She will then customize a bundle of 5 books that can be picked up at a designated time. For more information, please visit the Virtual Academy - Library to Go tab on the left hand side of the page.

***Due to social distancing and the amount of materials out at any given time, students will have to wait up to 4 days for a returned book to be quarantined before it can be checked back out.

Checking Out Books in Sora

Sora is an online library that provides thousands of books in either fiction or non-fiction. All students are allowed to have up to 3 books checked out at any given time. Students are allowed to have the books checked-out for as long as 3 weeks. Please be mindful, however, that students return books in Sora as soon as they have completed using them. Just like a physical library, there are limited amount of books under a given title.

To access Sora, you can download the Sora app or you can visit the website: www.soraapp.com

Under "Find Your School," select Frisco ISD

Username will be the 6 digit lunch number.

MackinVia

MackinVia is an online research database that is home to many research tools purchased by Frisco ISD. Students also have access to eBooks, audio books, and picture books. Some of the unique research tools allow students of all ages to research a topic by either a specific phrase or visuals.

Students must choose Ogle Elementary from the drop down box.

Their username is their 6-digit number and the password is their whole birthday
