Students will be given spelling words on Monday to glue into their planners and study at home throughout the week. Spelling tests will be on Fridays.

October 20: at, cat, big, in, fin. Challenge words: twin, splat

October 27: on, it, sit, not, hot. Challenge words: quit, otter

November 3: if, an, man, fun, run. Challenge words: candy, funny

November 10:  up, cup, get, did, like

Challenge words:  hidden, likely

November 17: bit, bite, can, cane, put. Challenge words: airplane, invite

December: No spelling.

January 5: No spelling.

January 12: not, note, kit, kite, make. Challenge words: polite, wrote

January 20: No spelling this week

February 2: Rob, robe, cut, cute, came. Challenge words: rename, salute

February 9: No spelling.

February 17: No spelling this week

February 23: hop, hope, plan, plane. Challenge: antelope, hurricane

March 2:  and, went, trip, frog, best        

Challenge:  rested, expand

March 9: gold, last, plot, glad, stop. Challenge: folding, plastic

March 23: jump, shut, flag, camp, slam. Challenge: champion, magazine
