At the Newman Library, we encourage our students to select a combination of "free choice"  and "just right for me" books.  Sometimes that means that students get home with a book that is too hard, too easy, or that they are not enjoying as much as they hoped.

If you have expectations for what your student reads, please discuss this with them so they can keep it in mind as they browse in the library. Thank you for helping us grow our readers! It is our sincere hope that they will be lifelong readers!
