Hi, I’m Kristen Milner! I’ve been teaching for 19 years, with experience in Pre-K, Kindergarten, 1st, 4th, and 5th grade.
I’ve been married to my college sweetheart, Aaron, for 20 years, and together we have five wonderful children—Jaxon, Belle, Tyson, Nixon, and Caroline. As you can imagine, life is full and busy, but we wouldn’t trade it for the world!
As a family, we love swimming, traveling, playing and watching baseball, and most of all, just spending time together.

Coming into my fourth year with Frisco ISD. I graduated from American InterContinental University with a bachelor's in media communications. I thought I was going to be behind the scenes of some of your favorite television shows, but life took me on a different path when I had my son Kione. I wanted to be able to spend more time with him, so I started substitute teaching. The principal had no idea that it was my first time working with children and told me that I’d been missing my calling and from there I began the program to becoming a teacher. After finishing the program my first teaching position was as a Pre-K Itinerant Teacher where I was also trained as an Infant/Toddler Developmental Specialist. I saw student in their homes and childcare facilities from 0-5 years of age with varying disabilities for 3 years. I then moved to the Tampa Florida area where I spent 8 years teaching Special Education Pre-K. I also spent a year as a Special Education Resource Teacher. I have a son in college, playing football and majoring in Computer Engineering. I came to the Frisco area to be closer to my brother and his family where my three nephews keep their auntie busy. I am super excited to for another year teaching pre-K students here at Newman Elementary!
