Kim Gaffney

Hi, I am Kim Gaffney and am so excited to be teaching second grade  this year at McSpedden.  It will be such a privilege to be able to watch the same group of kids learn and grow again for another year.  This will be my 14th year of teaching with 11 of them in second grade:)

My husband, of 32 years, and I are proud parents of 2 young adults.  Our son has a beautiful family and has blessed us with 3 amazing, energy filled and loving grandchildren that I cannot spend enough time with.  Our daughter graduated last year from college and is living the adulting life quite nicely!  She is the Director of Graphic Design and merchandise for the Texas Legends and loves every minute.

I love that each day with kids is a never-ending amount of learning, laughter, and fun! In my free time I enjoy watching Alabama football with my husband, reading, working out and spending as much time with my grandkids! 

I am excited for our year together in second grade!
