Hey there! My name is Sydney Shockley and I am ecstatic to be teaching another year at Liscano Elementary! 2nd year in 2nd Grade! This will be my second year teaching in 2nd grade with prior teaching experience as a 3rd Grade ELAR teacher also within Frisco ISD. I moved to McKinney, Texas in October 2021 to pursue teaching.
I was born and raised in beautiful Redondo Beach, California. After obtaining my Associate Degree, I attended Midwestern State University to finish my degree, Bachelor of Applied Arts and Sciences with a concentration in Early Childhood and Adolescent Studies.
Some things that I love to do for fun are playing chess, reading, walking, going to the beach, being in the sun, and spending time with loved ones!
