Mandy Townsend

Mrs. Townsend is thrilled to begin her 16th year of teaching in FISD!  She feels so blessed to teach second grade, and to be part of such a wonderful school.  Mrs. Townsend is originally from Killeen, Texas. When she was a child she moved overseas with her family and spent eight years growing up in Butzbach and Mannheim, Germany.  She received her Bachelor's Degree from Texas State University...Go Bobcats!

Mrs. Townsend recently celebrated her 14th year of marriage with her husband, Ryan. They have two beautiful daughters, Penny and Paige.  Penny is 10 years old and she will join Liscano as a fifth grader this school year.  Paige is 6 years old and she will join Liscano as a first grader this school year.  Mrs. Townsend enjoys spending time with family and friends, shopping, and taking walks with her sweet family.

Mrs. Townsend is looking forward to an amazing year as your child continues to grow and learn! Every day she is thankful for having the best job in the world! She is looking forward to a wonderful school year!
