My name is Kristine Seale. I graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 2012, and after three years working in the corporate world, I decided to pursue my dream of teaching. This is my seventh year in Frisco ISD. I spent four years teaching 4th grade at Boals Elementary, and now I'm the Digital Learning Coach at Miller Elementary. I have been married to my high school sweetheart, Garrett, since 2013, and we have a chocolate lab named Hershey and a shepherd/cattle dog puppy named Copper. We enjoy spending our free time together going to movies, watching our favorite shows, and cheering on our alma mater, the Oklahoma Sooners!
My education and professional experiences within the editing, project management, and copywriting fields have garnered a great deal of experience that feeds into my passion of teaching. My employment with the University of Oklahoma Writing Center exposed me to students and professionals of various backgrounds and learning styles while I was pursuing my primary field of study. As the sole Children’s Book Editor, responsible for thorough editing of up to fifty children’s books a month, I've worked to learn as much as possible about English grammar and writing to use to the advantage of teachers and students. My roles as a project manager and team lead project manager have equipped me with the ability to learn and adjust quickly in a fast-paced environment, as well as giving me extensive experience in maintaining open lines of communication. And my work as a copywriter has helped me to cultivate a strong attention to detail.
In addition to these skills outside a teaching environment, my years of classroom experience have left me with a deep understanding of how important it is to give teachers a sound framework to guide their teaching. Creativity, flexibility and knowledge are required to be successful in the classroom and these skills are some of my strengths. Ultimately, my goal as an educator is to help create an educational experience that will challenge students and teachers to be their best and create future ready learners, educators, and leaders. Children have an amazing capacity for knowledge, and I am excited about the opportunity to do my part in educating the next generation.
