Welcome to SLC!

Our instructional setting this year offers specially designed instruction for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and/or other communication disorders who require support to build functional language and communication skills.

The main attribute of our classroom this year is going to be very simple: love & learning. Our teaching philosophy is that it is our job to love our students as kids first, and then secondly to teach them as students. Because of this, it is our plan to do everything with love this year. Whether it be learning a new mathematics strategy, conversing with a friend about weekend plans, hugging a buddy after a fall on the playground, or anything in between, we plan to teach our students how to act with love through every situation.
